Week Vlogs!!

If you haven't notice by now i have been vlogging a lot these past few weekends. I only vlog on weekend because the girls are so busy with school during the week there is really nothing interesting that goes on. I have been vlogging to keep the girls busy on the weekend its fun and the girls really enjoy it. I also don't post all of the footage that i record, i keep that  for keepsake family home videos. so here are some of our most recent weekend vlogs and if you have a YouTube account you can also follow our vlogs for more adventures that we do on weekends!! Since that same week the girls got sick them minute they recover we went to watch Disney new movie "Big Hero 6" it was an amazing movie to watch and I think I will buy when it goes on DVD. Spring Break Vaca Day 7 "Easter Day"

 Happy Easter Everyone!!

Our Easter was kind of a mellow one, only because i woke up really late and the girls got home from their sleepover. Our plan for today was to spend Easter at my grandma house but instead we stay home. i Didn't want to ruin the activities of the day which was coloring Easter eggs and some Easter treats.The day was spent cleaning up my kitchen cabinets, cleaning out all these bugs that we really hate so we hire an exterminator. So hubby and i are very tired, the girls were pondering around the house saying "i'm bored mommy!!" As tired i was i didn't want to leave my girls hanging and it's Easter they were expecting some fun activities i had store for them to do. The first activity, which it was mostly eating, I had made some jell-o Easter jiggles a few days ago (maybe Friday) and today they go to eat them. The next thing on our agenda was to decorate some eggs, i did't have any so i had to go downstairs to buy some. The girls had so much fun decorating the eggs, tinting the eggs and painting them too. The last thing we did was made cupcakes! Not just any cupcakes but Easter Baskets Cupcakes!! Joannelly was really into making these cupcakes i guess she get that enthusiastic from me i'm a baker myself (just not a professional one) Amelia just wanted to eat her cupcake, can't blame her. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, not much for me to write i'm so tired and i will call it night.

Birthday Cake!

This last week i was so busy because i had a cake to bake and deliver that weekend. The client was a friend of my assistant manager of a previous job. The cake was for a little girl turning 1, the theme of the cake was baby Minnie Mouse. I did not want to replicate the cake of the image i was given to do, instead i work with the image and my touch to it so that the cake is I made not someone else. The cake is a two tier cake with a red velvet cake on the first tier and the second tier was a yellow cake. The fillings on each was strawberry mouse with freshly cut strawberries slices. I was so proud of this cake because it was done and hour before it was suppose to be deliver. I love this cake because it yet another practice on my baking and decorating skills, I'm not yet a professional but it's a nice hobby of mines. Baby Shower Cake By: ME

Baking and cake decorating has been a passion to me growing up. I use to love putting thing together and creating something beautiful. I'm not a professional but i love what i do and intend on continuing to gain more knowledge on cake decorating maybe it can take me somewhere like launching my own cake business. I learn that when you are in the zone of making a cake for a client SILENCE IS VIRTUE, i love my girls but i need complete silence and concentration when i'm in "cake zone".
