BE THANKFUL!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving. Its time to rethink what we are thankful so far in our life right now. I am very thankful for the life i am living with my kids and my husband....my husband and i came along time from where we are. Living in a room in his mother Manhattan apartment going through the struggles in a young relationship being 7 months pregnant at the age of 20. Yeah we did come along way and i wouldn't change it for one bit. I have been showing my girls the importance of being grateful for all the people and things in their lives cause that is what this holiday is about. I also have them understand they have to be grateful every day cause not every child has the lifestyle that they are living. I thank my mother for teaching my siblings and i about being grateful in life for the best things in life will come to you. I also thank God for the struggles in my life to understand the true meaning of being THANKFUL. The morning of thanksgiving my little family enjoy watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the cold Manhattan Central Park. I knew they would enjoy their first experience at the parade especially after the saw their favorite Disney star Debbie Ryan.  Than later that night my little family with our extended family spent thanksgiving in my home...like they say good food with good company is always the best. It was a lovely holiday spent well with my love ones.

So how was your thanksgiving? What are you thankful for?

Queens Farm Fall Family Fun

Hey Bloggers

We went to the Queens County Farm and it was pretty enjoyable.  We went with my older sister, her friend and the girls cousins. Our plan for this adventure was to do the corn maze but I wanted to the pumpkin picking. We did the maze and boy I didn't expect us to take about an hour and forty minutes to get to the end of this corn maze but we did. We were  exhausted and excited that we reach the end. I didn't think doing the maze would take up too much of our time so we ended up getting our pumpkins in the shop. The day ended with a ride back home asleep.

I hope you enjoy these pictures and until the next blog...

September Ipsy Bag Review!

Hey Bloggers!

Every month on my YouTube channel (Lovelynelly23) I do an open package of the Ipsy beauty cosmetic monthly subscription. Its only $10 a month and I can say it has been worth every penny. Every month these bags comes in different designs and different theme. This month bag theme is called "Classic Beauty" The only thing I didn't like that much was the sample of the "Life Palette" from EM which is a new cosmetic line. The colors are absolutely beautiful but not that pigmented.

I did a few swatches of the products that I've gotten below...

Caiyln- Tinted Lip Balm "Apple Red"

Starlook- Obsidian  Eye Pencil

NYX Lanikai (ES86)

The whole look:

The things I used for this look:

EM "The Life Palette"- Out to Lunch

The brushes I used for this look:

BH Cosmetics and Sonia Kashuk Kabuki Brush

Fall is here!

Hey Bloggers!
I am so excited because today is sunday and the first day of FALL! This is my favorite season of the year where i can layer my clothes, wear scrafs, boots, beanee hats, drink pumpkin lattes AND eat pumpkin pies! However, i wanted to share my girls fall inspired outfits of today. The girls loves getting dressed and creating their own unique style. Theres moments when im fighting with them because us mom want our kids to look like gymboree or gapkids model but that just dont work!...lol Its all about our kids expressing their many personalites from the inside out to their outfits.

First day of school

 Hey Bloggers!

The day has arrived! Amelia's and Jojo first day of school. I didn't take that many pictures because I was pretty deranged, Jojo and Amelia were going to separate schools which means separate school schedule. I wanted to make sure that I had all the information need from both schools and all paperwork was submitted. Boy doesn't our days get much more busier during the school year so much preparations!. So the night before I prepare Jojo lunch, I didn't make lunch for Amelia because her school is only half day. They were really excited to go school, they spent almost two weeks asking me "is school tomorrow?" But its here now and its exciting for them as well as for me..lol
Until the next blog!
